LR recognizes special group of seniors in commencement ceremonies
The first week in May, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø will hold in-person commencement ceremonies recognizing the classes of 2020 and 2021.
"Being able to recognize our graduating seniors with a dedicated, in-person ceremony in a safe manner is important to us, and we are happy to be able to honor them in this way," said Lenoir-Rhyne President Dr. Fred Whitt. "They've worked tremendously hard for this achievement. Our Class of 2020 graduates, in particular, have been patient and understanding given the restrictions of the pandemic, and we are finally able to celebrate them."
Seven student teams turned canned goods into creative sculptures during LR’s inaugural Homecoming Canstruction competition, collecting 842 cans of food for the campus food pantry.
