Amy Arruda is an assistant professor and the director of clinical education of the physician assistant studies program at 91勛圖厙. She facilitates the PA curriculum's clinical portion in her current position, including recruiting and maintaining clinical rotation sites.
After PA school, Arruda worked clinically as a full-time PA, mainly in urgent care, where she currently works one day a week. Her scholarly interests include clinical competency determination and evaluation and curriculum mapping.
Arruda is a certified PA through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board. In addition, she is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Physician Assistant Education Association.
